Asus ZenFone Max M2
Asus ZenFone Max M2 (ZB633KL)
Asus launched the Asus ZenFone Max M2 in december at the same time it launched the Asus ZenFone Max Pro M2 with some significant design and specification differences to reach the customer base that Xiaomi and Honor have been targeting all this while their devices. The Asus ZenFone Max M2 was launched in two RAM variants of 3 GB and 4GB with 32GB and 64GB at rupees 12999 and 14999 respectively. Now the prices have come down to rupees 9999 and 11999 respectively.
The Asus ZenFone Max M2 has a 6.26 inch screen with a notch display that houses the front camera, led flash and the notification led in the speaker grill. The screen does not have a corning gorilla glass protection as asus has cut some corners in making the phone affordable. This means that if you buy this device then don’t drop it ever.
The rear of the device houses the dual cameras and the fingerprint sensor with a metallic cover and plastic sides. The build quality is average and the phone has a Micro USB 2.0 connector and doesn’t support fast charging.
The Android v8.1 Oreo has not been given any skin by Asus and you get the stock android experience out of the box. The clean OS allows the user to enjoy the device without any bloatware and other skin customizations which makes using the device a pleasant experience.
The Asus ZenFone Max M2 runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 632 chipset and has Octa-core (4x1.8 GHz Kryo 250 Gold & 4x1.8 GHz Kryo 250 Silver) processor with the Adreno 506 graphics chipset. The 3GB RAM variant runs smoothly with these specifications and there was very little lag on the device except during heavy fps gameplay of PUBG.
The device has a dual SIM setup and the device supports 4G VoLTE bands on both the the SIM slots. The device also offers the users a dedicated memory card slot that supports memory card with a storage of 512 GB.
The 4000 mAh battery on the device is sufficient to last a full day on a single charge and takes around 2.5-3 hours to fully charge from 0 to 100. The device has a Micro USB 2.0 connector and does not support fast charging, but given its price point one can compromise on this little flaw.
The device is available in two colors of Black and Blue.

The Ultimate Review
The Asus ZenFone Max M2 is an amazing device at the price it is being offered. Although one does tend to compare it with the Asus ZenFone Max Pro M2 but both the devices are completely different in design and specifications.
The dual camera setup on the Asus ZenFone Max M2 snaps decent pictures and there is little loss of detail in natural lighting conditions. But the cameras suffer a bit in low light conditions and during night the pictures display some noise and grain. The front selfie camera is good and the pictures that you take are worth posting on social media.
The battery life of the device is a major plus point as it houses a 4000mAh battery that lasts easily for a full day with moderate usage on a single charge.
The stock android OS v8.1 Oreo is another big plus that the users will like on this device as there are no skin customizations and bloatware on the device and gives the device a neat and clean feeling.
Lastly, we would recommend you to buy the Asus Zenfone Max M2 as it is a super value for money device and has all the top features that a user wants from their smartphone without spending extra money.
