The Xolo Era 4X mobile phone was launched in January 2019. The smartphone is extremely affordable at a price point of Rupees 4444 and 5555 for its 1GB and 2GB variants respectively and has considerably good specification when factoring the price. It offers an internal storage of 16GB which can be expanded upto 64GB using a micro SD card. Xolo Era 4X comes with a 5.45 inch IPS LCD display with Corning Gorilla glass screen protection. The screen aspect ratio is 18:9 with a screen resolution of 720×1440 pixels that offers a pixel density of 295 PPI. The phone contains a MediaTek MT 6739 chipset and has a Cortex A53 Quad Core processor.
The Xolo Era 4X has a 8MP (mega-pixel) rear camera and a 5MP front facing camera. The Rear camera offers rear auto-focus and rear flash to shoot good pictures. The Front camera also offers selfie flash for selfie lovers.
As far as battery performance is concerned, the Xolo Era 4X has a 3000 mAh li-ion battery which lasts easily for a day of moderate usage.
The Phone supports dual sim card slots and has a dual VoLTE support as most networks now support 4G. It runs the Android v8.1 oreo and has its own custom UI called Android Go.
Being an entry level device, the Xolo Era 4X lacks a fingerprint sensor but offers Face Unlock (only in 2GB variant) for its customers. It is surprising to see such unique functionality on an entry level device. It comes in two colors i.e Black and Gold.

The Latest Xolo Era 4X launched in January 2019 is a Entry Level device that can be said to be a predecessor to its previous ‘Era’ devices. People looking for a device that can perform the basic functions of a Smartphone has the best value for their money if investing on this device.
Trying to run heavy applications and games might not be its cup of tea but one can still get a lot of things done with this device if it is used as a basic to moderate usage device.
The camera is not good during night but can give you good pictures during the day. The device comes with a Face unlock Feature (only in 2GB variant) but lacks the Fingerprint Sensor that almost all smartphones have these days. But considering the price getting face unlock is an amazing value for money.
The Xolo Era 4X has a big screen when it comes to display. But the pixel density at 295 PPI is low due to its 720×1440 screen resolution.
The phone comes with a 1 year warranty on the device and a 6 month warranty for in-box accessories like battery and charger from the manufacturer.
But looking at the price point and the features that this smartphone offers. It is sure to get some attention from those who don’t want to spend so much on a mobile phone.
