Lenovo K5 Note (2018)
Lenovo K5 Note (2018)
Lenovo is mostly known for making good laptops which are famous for their unique design preferences. Lenovo has also been making mobile phones that are able to show the same design elements that are a trademark of their laptops. The Lenovo K5 Note (2018) is similar to Lenovo K5 but with some upgrades and is a mobile phone that is in the entry level price range segment and is priced at around 12000 Rupees.
The Lenovo K5 Note (2018) has a 6.0 inches of IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen that has a screen resolution of about 720 x 1440 pixels with a pixel density of 268 ppi. The color reproduction is good but the pixel density is just able to keep up with the size of the display to not let the images pixelate. The sunlight reading is dim with the brightness turned down but can be easily fixed by turning the brightness up to full.
The cameras on the Lenovo devices are well optimized and take some good pictures. The Lenovo K5 Note (2018) has a dual camera setup in the rear with a 16 MP lens that has an aperture size of f/2.0 and a second camera with a 2 MP lens and an aperture size of f/2.4 and a depth sensor. The front camera is a 8 MP lens with an aperture size of f/2.0. The cameras take decent pictures in normal daylight conditions and suffer from some noise in artificial lighting conditions. The low light pictures are just okay and can be better if worked on with the hardware.
The Lenovo K5 Note (2018) is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 chipset with Octa-core 1.8 GHz Cortex-A53 processors and Adreno 506 graphics chipset. The device runs on the Android v8.0 Oreo and is optimized to work properly with the hardware. It is overlaid with the ZUI 3.9 skin which has some bloatware. The device has 3GB RAM and 32 GB of internal storage and a 4GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage with a slot for a MicroSD card which supports up to 256GB.
The Lenovo K5 Note (2018) has a 3760 mAh Lithium-Polymer battery and it is shipped with a normal charger. The device is able to sustain for a day and a half before running out of juice with average usage. It goes from 0-100 in about 3 hours.
The Lenovo K5 Note (2018) comes in Black, Gold and Blue color variants.

The Ultimate Review
The Lenovo K5 Note (2018) is a good device and isn’t expensive for the features it offers. Most other phones are available at the entry level segment and offer similar specifications.
The cameras take decent quality images. The colour reproduction is natural and crisp in normal lighting conditions, but the pictures suffer from noise in low light conditions and lack of detail can be seen.
The device has a 3760mAh battery that lasts you for almost a day and a half which is good but the device takes about 3 hours to fully charge.
The Lenovo K5 Note (2018) is a device that is decently priced for the features it offers to the consumers and can be a decent investment for your money.
