LG V30S ThinQ
LG V30S ThinQ
LG has been working more than ever to gets its brand being recognized as a smartphone maker in the competitive market with many giants pushing devices that are better featured and competitively priced. But LG has recently launched devices that have been able to make some impact in the minds of the users. The LG V30S ThinQ is a device that is in the flagship price range segment and is priced at around 51000 Rupees and comes with 128 GB or 256 GB variants.
The LG V30S ThinQ has a 6.0 inches of P-OLED capacitive touchscreen that has a screen resolution of about 1440 x 2880 pixels with a pixel density of 537 ppi. The color reproduction is good and the pixel density allows one to view images in gret detail without any loss in quality. The sunlight reading suffers with the brightness turned down but can be easily fixed by turning the brightness up. The screen is not great but it is also not bad. One won’t be finding faults in it as it will give the user a much better viewing experience than most phones.
The cameras on the LG devices are not much to talk about but they get the job done . The LG V30S ThinQ has a dual camera setup in the rear, a 16 MP lens with an aperture size of f/1.6 and a 13 MP lens with an aperture size of f/1.9. The front camera is a 5 MP lens with an aperture size of f/2.2 and is not something to say about on as flaghip device as it does not belong there. The cameras take decent pictures in normal daylight conditions and suffer from noise in artificial lighting conditions. The low light pictures are not great and there is much that needs to be worked on by LG. The overall result of the pictures are good when viewed on the 1080p resolution screen.
The LG V30S ThinQ is powered by Qualcomm MSM8998 Snapdragon 835 chipset with Octa-core (4x2.45 GHz Kryo & 4x1.9 GHz Kryo) processors and Adreno 540 graphics chipset. The device runs on the Android v8.0 Oreo and is optimized to work properly with the hardware. The device is overlaid with the LG UX 6 which has some new additions on top of the stock android platform. There is a 4th button in the navigation bar that is used for the sole purpose of bringing down the notification bar as most phones these days have a large screen and it is hard to reach the top. The device has 6 GB RAM and 128 GB of internal storage and a slot for a MicroSD card which supports up to 1TB of memory. It’s V30s+ version has 6 GB RAM and 256 GB of internal storage.
The LG V30S ThinQ has a 3300 mAh Lithium-Polymer battery and it is shipped with a fast charger and a wireless charger and the device also has a USB Type-C slot. The device is able to sustain for a day before running out of juice with average usage. It goes from 0-100 in about 2 hours.
The LG V30S ThinQ comes in New Moroccan Blue and New Platinum Gray color variants.

The Ultimate Review
The LG V30S ThinQ is a good device but is expensive for the features it offers as most flagship phones offer top notch features.
The cameras take decent quality images. The color reproduction is natural and crisp in normal lighting conditions, but the pictures suffer from noise in low light conditions and lack of detail can be seen.
The device has a 3300mAh battery that lasts you for almost a day which is good but the device takes about 2 hours to fully charge. The fast charging and wireless charging with the USB Type-C helps the device.
The LG V30S ThinQ is a device that is a little overpriced for the features it offers to the consumers but if you are willing to go for LG products then buy this device for its unique new skin overlaid on Android v8.0 Oreo
