Motorola One Power
Motorola One Power
Motorola launched its Android One device, the Motorola One Power, in the Mid Range price bracket in october 2018 for the price of Rupees 18999. Now the price is hovering around 14999 and is much more worth buying than it was at the time of its launch. Although some people might point out that the device has gotten 6 months old, but considering the specifications and the OS that are present on the device, you will definitely consider forgetting the 6 month time lapse.
The Motorola One Power is a device that packs a 6.2 inch LTPS IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen with a notch at the top. The notch houses the 12 MP front camera and other sensors with the LED flash. The back of the device holds the fingerprint scanner in the top centre with the dual rear cameras at the top left. The device has a metallic back and plastic sides. It is slightly heavier in the hand as it weighs 208 g with its 5000 mAh battery.
The Android One OS on the device performs without any lag and the stock android experience on the device is better than all the other UI skins which are placed on top of Android Oreo devices in the same price range.
The Motorola One Power runs on the qualcomm snapdragon 636 with an Octa-core 1.8 GHz Kryo 260 processor and an Adreno 509 graphic chipset. To support this hardware the device has a 3/4 GB RAM variant that comes with 32/64 GB internal memory support for all your files and images.
The Motorola One Power does not compromise with the 3.5 mm headphone jack and also supports USB Type-C charging connector. The phone has fast charging support and it bundles a 15w charger in the box which allows you charge the 5000 mAh battery to 30% in 30 minutes.
The dual SIM support on the device allows for a 4G and 3G connection with a dedicated slot for a 256GB memory card. It is sad that it doesn’t support two 4G nano SIMs (bandwidth speeds) in both the slots. The The phone supports bluetooth 5.0, dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, GPS, Glonass, Beidou and Galileo.
You can get this device in a single tone of Midnight Black.

The Ultimate Review
The Motorola One Power comes with decent specifications in the mid price range bracket. It has the stock OS Android Oreo with the Android One UI running on a qualcomm snapdragon 636 chipset.
The camera performance is good and the pictures come out good in normal daylight but the camera shows some average performance in low light conditions.
The design of the device is neat and the placing of the headphone slot and the fingerprint sensor is perfect. The support of USB Type-C connector that supports fast charging adds another point to the device in terms of features that the users want in a device.
The battery size of 5000mAh is a huge positive for the device as it lasts almost a day and a half on a single full charge.
Although the low light pictures are not so good but that can be compromised with all the other positives that the phone has to offer.
We say that with all the positive points that this phone has to offer and at the price it offers them is a steal. So, don’t wait and buy this device as its Android One platform will get regular upgrades and the phone will always feel like a new device even after 2 years of usage, given that you are not prone to change your phone every 6 months or a year.
