The Xiaomi Mi 8 has a 6.21 inches of Super AMOLED display with a notch design that houses the sensors and the front camera. It has nice color reproduction and the pixel density is good. The screen looks good even in sunlight. The combination of these three allows the device to run smoothly without any lag or frame drops. You can run multiple apps on the device and the heavy apps can be run on the best settings. The 6GB and 8GB RAM variants allows for better RAM management and you won’t need to worry about closing the apps running in the background. With the internal storage of 64/128/256 GB, one doesn’t need to worry about space and there is no expandable memory slot as well.
Xiaomi Mi 8 has dual cameras at the back, a 12 MP lens with an aperture size of f/1.8 and another 12 MP lens with an aperture size of f/2.4. The rear cameras take great pictures in daylight and you will find the images to have good sharp details and nice natural color reproductions. The AI mode makes the images look a bit oversaturated but that is okay for users who want that extra pop. The front camera on the device is a 20 MP lens with an aperture size of f/2.0 and the selfies taken by the camera are good with nice details and skin tones.
