The Asus Zenfone Lite L1 is a entry level Budget Smartphone that was launched in October 2018. It was priced at rupees 5999 in India when it was launched. Asus offers a decent device in the entry level price range that is there for customers who want a simple device that can get most of their work done.
Asus Zenfone Lite L1 has a Qualcomm MSM8937 Snapdragon 430 chipset that pairs well with the Octa-core 1.4 GHz Cortex-A53 processor and Adreno 505 graphics chip.
This device is a dual Sim device with Support for 4G VoLte Bands across all Mobile networks in India. You can use two Nano 4G Sims and a Memory card in the dedicated memory card slot. The memory card support is up to 512GB.
The Asus Zenfone Lite L1 has a 2GB RAM and 16GB of internal storage. Although it is a little less when compared to other smartphones in the same price range, you can still get decent performance from this device since the processor and the chipset are a little old.
The device has Face unlock and misses the fingerprint sensor at the back. The face unlock is decent and takes about 3-4 seconds to recognize your face. Without the fingerprint sensor, which is acceptable considering the price range, it is better to use a pattern lock or a pin to unlock the device.
The Primary camera is a 13MP snapper with a f/2.0 aperture and takes decent pictures in sunlight. The night pictures and low light pictures seem to be grainy a little bit. The secondary camera or the front selfie camera is 5MP shooter and allows you to take decent selfies and have video calls.
The Battery on the Asus Zenfone Lite L1 has a 3000mAh battery and it runs the device easily for a full day on a single charge.
The Phone comes in two color variants of Black and Gold.

A 3000 maH battery

CONS –

Average camera, doesn’t perform well in Night mode
Low Pixel density
The Asus Zenfone Lite L1 is a device that has not much going on for itself as it has some old Snapdragon 430 processor supporting a Android v8.0 Oreo. Due to this there is some lag when you open too many apps or try to run heavy games like PUBG.
The primary camera is just average and the daylight pictures turn out to be good but not great, and the night pictures show some grains and other noise. The front selfie camera is also average and the picture are acceptable for social media but not capable of making your friends go wow.
The Battery lasts long enough to get you home without dying, but you need to charge it every single day.
Try for other options if you are on a really tight budget. If you are a brand fanatic then go for this device otherwise we feel there are many better options out there.
