Huawei has been working on some of its low end range devices that give you the basic features of a smartphone. The Huawei Y6 2019 is is one such device that is made for the entry level market. The Huawei Y6 2019 is available in a single variant of 2GB RAM and 32 GB Internal Storage.
The Huawei Y6 2019 has a IPS LCD display with a size of 6.09 inches and has a screen resolution of 720 x 1560 pixels and a pixel density of 282 ppi. The color reproduction of the screen is decent and the ppi is fine but the overall aesthetic is a bit missing. The water droplet notch design on the display is now a feature that can be seen in most of the Huawei devices launched in the past half year. The outdoor display in the sunlight is a bit lacking but turning up the brightness helps.
The Huawei Y6 2019 is powered by Mediatek Helio A22 chipset with Quad-core 2.0 GHz Cortex-A53 processors and PowerVR GE8320 graphics chipset. The device comes with 2 GB RAM variant and 32 GB of internal storage. The device comes with Android v9.0 Pie. The skin overlaid is the EMUI 9. Its handling is decent but you can’t play or run heavy games and apps on this device due to low RAM.
The cameras on the Huawei Y6 2019 are decent. The images are nice and you get decent color and details. The back has a single camera which is a 13 MP lens with an aperture size of f/1.8. The front camera is a 8 MP lens with an aperture size of f/2.0. The images from the front camera are also good and you can take some good selfies.
The battery on the Huawei Y6 2019 is 3020mAh lithium-polymer battery and it will easily last you for a full day with average usage. The device can be charged to full in 2 hours from 0 to 100. It lacks fast charging and a USB Type-C port which is now a normal feature in most phones.

The Huawei Y6 2019 is a good device for the price but not good enough. It is just an entry level phone with the most basic features and hardware.
The cameras take decent quality images for the price point. The selfies are okay and there is noise in low light conditions.
The device has a 3020mAh battery that lasts you for almost a day and a half which is decent but not great.
The display is good in normal lighting conditions but suffers in sunlight which is easily fixable by turning up the brightness to full.
The phone is aptly priced in the entry level range but could have something better as it is a little overpriced for basic features.
