The Infinix Note 5 Stylus was released in November 2018 in the mid price range for Rupees 15999. The main feature of the device is the stylus pen which is apparent from the name of the smartphone. It adds a certain flair to the smartphone experience when you are able to write, draw or doodle on your smartphone and create digital notes by writing them physically.
The Infinix Note 5 Stylus has 5.93 inches of IPS LCD display and the colors look good. Sunlight viewing is decent and the viewing angles are good. The phone has a premium feel with a metal unibody.
The Infinix Note 5 Stylus has a Android v8.0 operating system under the google Android One program and the OS is pure stock with only the XPen tweaks and software added for the users. It is still not clear when it will be upgraded to Android v9.0 Pie.
The device runs on a MediaTek Helio P23 chipset with an Octa-core processor and a Mali-G71 MP2 graphics chipset. The phone does not show any lag thanks to the 4GB RAM but with heavy apps it does gets a bit sluggish.
The Cameras are both 16MP for the front and the rear. The rear camera has f/1.8 aperture size and the front has a f/2.0 aperture size. The daylight pictures are above average but not excellent and the low light and night time pictures show a bit of noise and the details get blurry. The video quality is okay and there is no image stabilization at 2160p@30fps.
The battery life is good considering it lasts a full day on a single charge. The 4000mAh battery allows you heavy usage and the fast charging helps if you are running out of juice.
The Infinix Note 5 Stylus comes in three color variants of Bordeaux Red, Charcoal Blue and Champagne Gold.

PROS –
5.93 inch display with droplet notch design.
Good screen to body ratio that is, approximately 78.0%.
403 ppi pixel density.
Good neat design
Camera Pictures are good.
4000mAh battery
CONS –
Hybrid MicroSD slot expandable up to 128GB but uses SIM slot 2.
Average low light camera performance
Fingerprint sensor takes a second more to unlock the device.
The stylus on the Infinix Note 5 Stylus is just another addition to get the users talking about the device. But the phone is expensive and the hybrid SIM slot blocks your SIM slot for the memory card slot if you want to expand the storage.
The stock android experience on the device is quite good and those who love the clean android experience will like it.
The cameras on the device take average pictures but the low light performance is not good as the pictures loose the details and there is noise in them.
Build quality is good and the device feels premium in the hands. It is a bit on the expensive side but if you want the stylus pen experience then go buy it.
