LG has been working more than ever to gets its brand being recognized as a smartphone maker in the competitive market with many giants pushing devices that are better featured and competitively priced. But LG has recently launched devices that have been able to make some impact in the minds of the users. The LG Zone 4 is a device that is in the budget price range segment and is priced at around 9500 Rupees.
The LG Zone 4 has a 5.0 inches of IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen that has a screen resolution of about 720 x 1280 pixels with a pixel density of 294 ppi. The colour reproduction is good but the pixel density is a bit less and you can see that there are some areas where one can see some pixels. The sunlight reading suffers with the brightness turned down but can be easily fixed by turning the brightness up. The bezels are a bit heavy at the top and bottom and the device design looks a bit inferior when compared to devices that are currently in the market for sale.
The cameras on the LG devices are not much to talk about but they get the job done . The LG Zone 4 has a single camera in the rear, a 8 MP lens. The front camera is a 5 MP lens. The cameras take decent pictures in normal daylight conditions and suffer from noise in artificial lighting conditions. The low light pictures are not great and there is much that needs to be worked on by LG. The overall result of the pictures is not great when viewed on the 720p resolution screen.
The LG Zone 4 is powered by Qualcomm MSM8917 Snapdragon 425 chipset with Quad-core 1.4 GHz Cortex-A53 processors and Adreno 308 graphics chipset. The device runs on the Android v7.1.2 Nougat and is optimized to work properly with the hardware. The device has 2 GB RAM and 16 GB of internal storage and a slot for a MicroSD card which supports up to 1TB of memory.
The LG Zone 4 has a 2500 mAh Lithium-Polymer battery and it is shipped with a normal charger and the device lacks a USB Type-C slot and still uses the Micro USB 2.0. The device is able to sustain for a day before running out of juice with average usage. It goes from 0-100 in about 2 hours.
The LG Zone 4 comes in Black and Blue color variants.

PROS –
5.0 inch IPS LCD display.
Average screen to body ratio that is approximately 66.2%.
294 ppi pixel density.
Good Neat design
Camera Pictures are okay.
2500 mAh battery.
CONS –
Low light camera pictures have noise in them and lack detail.
Battery capacity is less.
Internal storage and RAM are less.
Older versions of hardware and software being shipped.
The LG Zone 4 is a good device but is expensive for the features it offers. Most other phones are available at the entry level segment and offer better specifications.
The cameras take decent quality images. The colour reproduction is natural and crisp in normal lighting conditions, but the pictures suffer from noise in low light conditions and lack of detail can be seen.
The device has a 2500mAh battery that lasts you for almost a day which is good but the device takes about 2 hours to fully charge.
The LG Zone 4 is a device that is a little overpriced for the features it offers to the consumers but if you are willing to go for LG products then buy this device.
