Nokia is now making many great device that run on the Android platform and are able to provide fans with a good alternative to Samsung and Huawei phones. Nokia is a company that has made its mark in the hearts of people and it is selling well even after the windows devices fiasco. Nokia 3.1 is one such device that is making inroads again in the hearts of people for its good design and specifications. The Nokia 3.1 is priced at around Rupees 10000 for its 2 GB RAM model.
The Nokia 3.1 has a 5.2 inches of IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen and has a screen resolution of about 720 x 1440 pixels with a pixel density of 310 ppi. The colour reproduction is good and the pixel density helps in displaying sharper images and better blacks. The sunlight viewing is okay but the brightness setting helps in viewing the screen better when turned to full.
The cameras on the Nokia devices have always been the talking point of these devices. The Nokia 3.1 has a single camera in the rear, a 13 MP lens with an aperture size of f/2.0 and autofocus functionality. The front camera is a 8 MP lens with an aperture size of f/2.0. The cameras have carl-zeiss optics and the camera app is the only software customized on the device according to the needs of the system. The images taken from the device turn out pretty good and the colour generation is natural and crisp. The exposure is good in most shots and you get better images in good daylight conditions. The selfie shots are good and the images have no beautification. The dual images where both cameras click a picture is also a great implementation of two cameras.
The Nokia 3.1 is powered by Mediatek MT6750 chipset with Octa-core (4x1.5 GHz Cortex-A53 & 4x1.0 GHz Cortex-A53) processors and Mali-T860MP2 graphics chipset. The device runs on the Android One program and gets all its android updates as soon as they are released for other pure stock android devices. This is a bonus for purists and other enthusiasts who don’t want company customizations on their devices.
The Nokia 3.1 has a 2990 mAh Lithium-Polymer battery and there is no fast charger to support it. The device is able to sustain for a day before running out of juice with average usage. It goes from 0-100 in about 3 hours.
The Nokia 3.1 comes in Blue/Copper, Black/Chrome and White/Iron color variants.
