Nokia is a company that has made its mark in the hearts of people and it is selling well even after the windows devices fiasco. Nokia is now making many great device that run on the Android platform and are able to provide fans with a good alternative to Samsung and Huawei phones. Nokia 5.1 Plus is one such device that is making inroads again in the hearts of people for its good design and top of the line specifications. The Nokia 5.1 Plus is priced between Rupees 10000 and 30000 for its 3/4/6 GB models.
The Nokia 5.1 Plus has a 5.86 inches of IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen and has a screen resolution of about 720 x 1520 pixels with a pixel density of 287 ppi. The colour reproduction is good but the pixel density is a bit less and you can see that there are some areas where one can see some pixels. The sunlight viewing is okay but the brightness setting enhances it more when turned to full.
The cameras on the Nokia devices have always been the talking point of these devices. The Nokia 5.1 Plus has dual cameras in the rear, a 13 MP lens with an aperture size of f/2.0 and a 5 MP with a depth sensor. The front camera is a 8 MP lens with an aperture size of f/2.2. The camera software is customized according to the device so as to fit the needs of the system. Pictures snapped from these cameras are good and you can see much detail in them. The selfie shots have good bokeh effect. Beautification is not carried out by the AI.
The Nokia 5.1 Plus is powered by Mediatek Helio P60 chipset with Octa-core (4x1.8 GHz Cortex-A73 & 4x1.8 GHz Cortex-A53) processors and Mali-G72 MP3 graphics chipset. The device runs on the Android One program and gets all its android updates as soon as they are released for other pure stock android devices. This is a bonus for purists and other enthusiasts who don’t want company customizations on their devices.
The Nokia 5.1 Plus has a 3060 mAh Lithium-Polymer battery and it is shipped with a normal charger. The device is able to sustain for a day and a half before running out of juice with average usage. It goes from 0-100 in about 3 hours.
The Nokia 5.1 Plus comes in Night black, Glacier white and Baltic sea blue colour variants.

PROS –
5.86 inch IPS LCD display.
Average screen to body ratio that is approximately 79.6%.
287 ppi pixel density.
Good Neat design
Camera Pictures are Good.
3060mAh battery.
CONS –
Low light camera pictures have a bit noise in them.
The Nokia 5.1 Plus is a good device that has some of the best features and specifications for the price range it is being sold at.
The cameras take decent quality images. The colour reproduction is natural and crisp. Although most phones have better images most of them lack the finesse of Nokia devices.
The device has a 3060mAh battery that lasts you for almost a day and a half which is good but the lack of a fast charger is sorely missed.
Android One program helps you in running the stock Android OS with the latest patch updates and software enhancements.
The device is suitably priced in the mid price range and is a premium built device from Nokia. Go for this device as it won’t leave you unsatisfied.
