Nokia has seen many ups and downs in its journey trying to come up with the perfect strategy to become the world leaders in the market for global smartphones. The new resurrection with the new Android One platform seems to be working for the company and many people are looking forward to what Nokia has to offer. One such device in the Android One OS program is the Nokia 7.1 which is priced at around 19990 Rupees.
The Nokia 7.1 has a 5.84 inches of IPS LCD display with a notch design. The screen has HDR10 support and a resolution of 1080 x 2280 pixels and has a pixel density of 432 ppi. The screen is protected by Gorilla glass 3. The HDR display allows for a
1,000,000:1 dynamic contrast and the screen brightness is at a good 500 nits. This allows for better readability under outdoor sunlight conditions.
The cameras on the Nokia 7.1 are dual cameras in the rear and a single camera in the front. The back has a 12 MP lens and an aperture size of f/1.8 with a second camera lenso of 5 MP with an aperture size of f/2.4. The Nokia cameras always have the carl-zeiss optics to support the photography. The front has a 8MP lens with an aperture size of f/2.0. The camera app is the only piece of software that has been replaced by Nokia since they have been working on improving it for the past decade. The pictures turn out great because the one thing noteworthy about Nokia devices are the photographs taken by them. The pictures are stacked and then then processed for the final output and the image quality is great in the HDR mode and the portrait pictures have good color rendition. The contrast and brightness are just about right and you get to see the sharp details when zooming in.
The Nokia 7.1 has Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 chipset with Octa-core 1.8 GHz Kryo 260 processors and the Adreno 509 graphics chipset. The device comes in two RAM variants of 3 GB and 4 GB and has an internal storage of 32 GB and 64 GB. One can expand the storage using the MicroSD card slot up to 400 GB. The Android ONE experience on the Nokia 7.1 is pure stock Android v8.1 Oreo which is upgradable to Android v9.0 Pie.
The Battery on the Nokia 7.1 is a 3060mAh Li-Po battery and easily lasts for a day on a single charge. The device has the fast charging functionality and you can use that to get the battery back to full in just under an hour and a half.
The Nokia 7.1 is available in Gloss midnight blue and Gloss steel color variants.
