Nokia is now making many great device that run on the Android platform and are able to provide fans with a good alternative to Samsung and Huawei phones. Nokia is a company that has made its mark in the hearts of people and it is selling well even after the windows devices fiasco. Nokia 7 Plus is one such device that is making inroads again in the hearts of people for its good design and top of the line specifications. The Nokia 7 Plus is priced at Rupees 22999 for its 4 GB model.
The Nokia 7 Plus has a 6.0 inches of IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen and has a screen resolution of about 1080 x 2160 pixels with a pixel density of 403 ppi. The colour reproduction is good and the pixel density helps in displaying sharper images and better blacks. The sunlight viewing is okay but the brightness setting helps when turned to full.
The cameras on the Nokia devices have always been the talking point of these devices. The Nokia 7 Plus has dual cameras in the rear, a 12 MP lens with an aperture size of f/1.8 and a 13 MP lens with an aperture size of f/2.6. The front camera is a 16 MP lens with an aperture size of f/2.0. The cameras have carl-zeiss optics and the camera app is the only software customized on the device according to the needs of the system. The images taken from the device turn out pretty good and the colour generation is natural and crisp. The exposure is good in most shots and you get better images in good daylight conditions. The selfie shots have good bokeh effect when you want it and the images have no beautification. The dual images where both cameras click a picture is also a great implementation of two cameras.
The Nokia 7 Plus is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 chipset with Octa-core (4x2.2 GHz Kryo 260 & 4x1.8 GHz Kryo 260) processors and Adreno 512 graphics chipset. The device runs on the Android One program and gets all its android updates as soon as they are released for other pure stock android devices. This is a bonus for purists and other enthusiasts who don’t want company customizations on their devices.
The Nokia 7 Plus has a 3800 mAh Lithium-Polymer battery and it is shipped with a 18W fast charger. The device is able to sustain for a day and a half before running out of juice with average usage. It goes from 0-100 in about 2 hours and from 0-60 in about 30 minutes.
The Nokia 7 Plus comes in Black/Copper and White/Copper colour variants.
