OnePlus is a brand that has made a name for itself by providing some of the best Android Phones from its very first mobile phone. The 6th edition of the OnePlus Flagship devices has been anticipated a lot by the people and is one of those devices that people look out for and want to buy them. OnePlus 6 is a device that can easily be compared to market leaders like the Google Pixel series and Apple iPhone devices. The OnePlus 6 comes in different RAM variants and is available for about 30000 to 60000 Rupees for its different variants.
The OnePlus 6 has a Optic AMOLED display which is about 6.28 inches in size and has a screen resolution of 1080 x 2280 pixels and a pixel density of 402 ppi. The display has a cutout at the top and this notch has the front camera and the speaker grille. The display holds up well in the sunlight and being a flagship device it gives a better display than all other devices in the market.
The OnePlus 6 is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset with Octa-core (4x2.8 GHz Kryo 385 Gold & 4x1.7 GHz Kryo 385 Silver) processors and Adreno 630 graphics chipset. The device has a 6/8 GB of RAM and 64/128/256 GB of internal storage and operates on the Android v8.1 Oreo which is upgradeable to Android v9.0 Pie. The OS is overlaid with OnePlus Oxygen OS which has many different features and tweaks that make the device experience much smoother and enjoyable.
The cameras on the OnePlus 6 are customized in the best way possible to take amazing pictures or rather the AI of the camera app is optimized to give you quality pictures that other flagship devices lack. The back has a dual camera setup with a 16 MP lens with an aperture size of f/1.7 and a 20 MP lens (16 MP effective) with an aperture size of f/1.7. The front camera is placed in the notch and has a 16 MP lens with an aperture size of f/2.0. The video quality of the device is better than most device and the image stabilization is effective to say the least. The images are good looking and the color reproduction of the pictures in good light conditions is worth talking about. The night pictures are equally better with a little drop in quality but that is to be expected from any device operating in the night.
The battery on the OnePlus 6 is 3300mAh lithium-polymer battery and can last you for a full working day and then some more with average usage. You also have the functionality of fast charging which OnePlus has named as the Dash Charging. The device takes anywhere between 1 to 1.5 hours to fully charge from 0 to 100% and on dash charging it takes about 30 minutes to go from 0 to 60%.
The OnePlus 6 is available in Midnight Black, Mirror Black, Silk White and Amber Red color variants.

PROS –
6.28 inch Optic AMOLED display with notch design
Good screen to body ratio that is approximately 83.8%.
402 ppi pixel density.
Good Neat design
Camera Pictures are Great.
3300mAh big battery.
CONS –
The notch does not have a front flash.
The lack of a MicroSD card slot is a big dampner.
There is no headset in the box and you have to buy your own earphones.
No wireless charging.
The OnePlus 6 is an impressive device that has a myriad of features to flaunt. It is a tad on the expensive side but if you are looking for a flagship device with some amazing features apart from Samsung and Apple then consider OnePlus since it has been a crowd favorite from its first device.
The cameras take some of the best pictures and the night time photography is better than most phones in the market today. The selfies are great and there is good edge detection in the bokeh mode.
You get a 20 watt dash charger out of the box and there is a 3300mAh battery that lasts you for a day and a half is a good exchange for your money.
The display is sharp and color production is sharp and crisp.
The phone is high priced and can take almost 40000-60000 Rupees out of your pocket but it is worth it, if you want these features.
