Sony has not been a market player since they decided to cater to the upper tier of the smartphone market.
Sony sticks to its different models for all the different consumer spending capabilities and is one of those companies which has a device for its customers in almost every price point from entry level to mid to high end and flagship. The Sony Xperia XZ3 is a device that is placed in the mid price range and is priced at around Rupees 25500 and comes in 3/4 GB RAM and 32/64 GB ROM variants.
The Sony Xperia XZ3 has a 5.6 inches Super AMOLED display which has a screen resolution of 720 x 1480 pixels and a pixel density of 294 ppi. The screen resolution is a bit less but the device has a Super AMOLED display and you hardly find much difference when comparing to the Sony Xperia XZ3. The color reproduced on the screen are natural and the details are a little low due to the pixel density being affected by the screen resolution of the device.
The device has a Exynos 7870 Octa chipset with Octa-core 1.6 GHz Cortex-A53 processors and Mali-T830 MP1 graphics chipset for running some of those heavy apps. The Sony Xperia XZ3 has two RAM variants of 3GB and 4GB and both are able to manage multiple apps in the background and heavy apps easily without displaying any frame drops or lag when paired with the Exynos chipset.
The cameras on the Sony Xperia XZ3 are a 16 MP lens with an aperture size of f/1.7 at the rear and a 16 MP lens with an aperture size of f/1.9 at the front. The rear camera takes good images in natural light with manageable levels of noise and vivid colors that don’t look oversaturated. The night shots from the rear camera are good and there is some noise but the pictures don’t look black. The front camera has its own flash and you can use it to task great selfie shots.
The battery on the Sony Xperia XZ3 is a 3000mAh li-po battery and lasts for a fair amount of time on a single charge and varies from a single day to around two days on the amount of average to heavy usage. But if you are a heavy user it might last you for only 10-12 hours depending on the screen on-time. It takes about 2-3 hours to fully charge from 0-100.
The Sony Xperia XZ3 is available in Black, Gold, Blue and Lavender color variants.

The Sony Xperia XZ3 is a mid range device from Sony and has many great features with good specifications that are worth noticing in the price range in which it is being sold.
The Exynos 7870 Octa chipset paired with 3/4 GB RAM has good performance and optimization.
The cameras click great pictures in the natural daylight conditions and the color reproduction and the image details are easily handled by the camera AI.
The battery of the device easily lasts for a full days on a single charge but does not have the fast charging functionality that could have made it a better device. It lacks USB type - C connector and still has Micro USB 2.0.
The device is worth the price and offers good performance in the price range it is offered. If you are a Sony fan then go for it.
